Princesses, Princesses!

Hey stampers! my niece turned 6 a few weeks ago and I am just now making her card, oops!! She is a huge Disney Princess fan so I remembered that I had this stamp set. I purchased it at Target a few years ago and it had not seen ink until now. I could hardly peel them off of the backing sheet lol.


I couldn't decide which princess to use, so I stamped all of them. I colored them with my copic markers. I am so out of practice but I think I did ok. I then die cut them with stampin' Up oval framelits dies. Each image is mounted on another oval which is embossed using SU embossing folders. Cs is daffodil delight and DSP is Sunshine and Sprinkles.



I scored and folded it to make a sort of accordion card. I added some daffodil ribbon to close it. The butterflies are also a SU die. I wanted it to be able to sit open on her dresser. My favorite is Cinderella...typical woman right??

Bra Card

My best friend turned 40 a few weeks ago and I had to make her a funny card. Luckily she doesn't read my blog since I haven't sent it yet!!


The stamp set is from Gina K and I am not sure if it is still available. It is my all time favorite of hers and it is hilarious! It's called You Know Your Old When...


The card base is gumball green cs 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2. The DSP is from SU spring catalog called Print Poetry. The doily is a big shot die called delicate doilies. The border punch is retired SU. The 40 is also the Big Shot dies Typeset Alpha.

just in case you are wondering, the inside reads, "your bra size is a 38 long, Happy Birthday!"  HA!!

Ustamp Big Shot Roundup 2013 part 2

Here are my second and third projects for the current Ustamp with Dawn and Friends. I fell in love with the Ronald McDonald set, Moving Forward, and wanted to make some cards using it. I also can't sew, but LOVE SU's fabrics. I decided to make a no-sew project that looks like I can sew!

I had some time to play around today. I made this card with some SU and non SU stuff. The embossing folder and the snowflake punch(lrg) are SU but are retired. The smaller snowflake is a Martha Stewart punch. I used the silver glimmer paper and inked it with some midnight muse ink. It is a cool technique. You can make sparkly snowflakes in any color! I really love the inked bg on this card. You will prob see it again in another color. Have a great day!!
