Father's Day Cards

I just had to have this stamp set from the SU Summer mini. It's called The Open Sea and I know I will use it again and again. It is a very masculine set but also can be used on beach or vacation layouts. Both cards are sort of simple. I wanted the focus to be on the images and the wood grain bg. I did the wood graining technique which Gina K's Stamp TV has a great video tutorial. I used some of the new bakers twine on both cards. One is a Father's day card and the other a birthday card. I also used the nautical DSP from the summer mini that coordinates. Everything on these cards is SU except the fathers day sentiment and the large scallop square. Hope everyone is great!!
